How are ArtPrints made?
Our ArtPrints are made using a special
process of spraying unbelievably small ink dots onto the paper. In each square inch there
are over 300,000 dots. A full ArtPrint has an amazing 50 million dots. This method is so precise that
art forgers have been successful in fooling art experts. We use this
same method to ensure that your ArtPrint is authentic.
MicroPrint process
guarantees
that your ArtPrint is authentic. We specifically engineer the
tiniest type that modern science can produce. And we then put your
print's name in that size. So we can print originals this perfectly, but
no one else can print duplicates without messing up the MicroType. This
means your ArtPrint is Authentic, and you can prove it by looking at the
MicroType with a magnifying glass.
Artist's
Proofs:
Artist's Proofs are created by the Artist
during the precise alignment of the MicroType method. Occasionally, an
Artist's proof will be available, and these are the very first issued
prints. For collectors, these are the very rarest ArtPrints, and will
never be issued again. These are usually only available during the first
few weeks of the issue of new ArtPrints.
